Driving
Nelson is located roughly half way between Calgary and Vancouver in British Columbia’s southern interior. Driving to Nelson gives you a chance to take in the spectacular mountain scenery of south-eastern BC. Feel free to contact us if you would like route suggestions to augument your trip. The following driving times assume good road conditions. Calgary – 7 hours Vancouver – 8 hours Spokane – 3 hours Kelowna – 4 hours.

Air Travel
You can fly into either Castlegar Airport (YCG) or the international Airport in Spokane, Washington (GEG). Castlegar is a 40 minute drive from Nelson, with shuttle service available through Queen City Limousine (250-352-9829 ). Air Canada www.aircanada.ca fly’s into Castlegar from both Calgary and Vancouver. American visitors can fly into Spokane airport which offers connecting flights to most US destinations. A shuttle service is available to Nelson through Queen City Shuttles www.kootenayshuttle.com. Mountain Waters may also be able to arrange for guest pick up in Spokane for larger groups.
